lawyers’ forum NBA Bwari Branch on the occasion of her young lawyer’s forum
summit which was held on the 14th day of June 2024 with the theme “Charting a
new course: Actionable solutions for young lawyers.
As a young lawyer the first thing you need to do
is to have a clear vision of what you have in mind for your career and then
begin to work towards it from the very beginning that way you will be able to achieve
your goals. One thing is certain, the young lawyers have a great advantage over
the older lawyers and that advantage is simply the use of technology.

To be successful it takes a conscious, consistent and continuous resolve at self-development. A lawyer must garner the requisite knowledge and skills and keep abreast of changes in the law and its practice including the benefits and risks associated with relevant technology and engage in continuing study of education. The part of excellence certainly cannot be jettisoned inspite of the overwhelming challenges in the profession or society.
